A just and equitable society requires a diverse and inclusive design profession.
Together, we’re making it happen.
Just look at the numbers. People of color are not considered in the world that’s designed around us because they have been historically excluded from the design process. It’s time to calibrate these gaps for a more inclusive world.
The design industry was largely created by white people hiring white people who design for white people. But design touches everything and everyone from everywhere. This lack of diverse representation in design often leads to ineffective and oftentimes harmful solutions that exclude rather than include.
